THIS IS A STARTER SESSION FOR THE ATHLETIC BREWING X GOODGYM PARTNERSHIP
Save The World Club need a number of people to help us clear their garages and possessions from their office and load them into vans ahead of their lease ending on the 23rd September. With GoodGym’s help they can concentrate on a few problem areas as they need many hands to help move boxes and furniture. These need loading up into the vans ready to move to their new premises on the border of Kingston/Surbiton.
Save The World Club stores a vast quantity of rescued goods that would have otherwise been landfilled for redistribution, reuse, repair, and upcycled into creative objects. They have done a great job in moving a significant amount of items but they are up against the clock now and have only a short time to save the remaining items otherwise anything left will be destroyed in the rebuild of the new site.
The task will include moving heavy objects or furniture could lead to minor injury so caution is advised with heavy or old objects. Wear gloves that help you grip and always bend your knees when lifting.
Meet at the Quaker Centre for 6.30pm or at the The Circulatory for 7pm. Head torches and gloves will be needed, see you then. Meeting point on What3Words: ///spoken.window.wacky
Afterwards we will be running back to the centre then heading to Fairfield Park to enjoy some refreshment courtesy of alcohol-free beer, Athletic Brewing Co.
