Join us for a special Silver Sunday workshop and social when The Charterhouse team will introduce characters from the amazing portraits in their Great Chamber (and they really were characters in their day!)
You’ll be able to take part in a short, fun writing activity where we will all describe ourselves and get a chance to learn a little about each other.
The Charterhouse team will also give you an insight into the history of the building (which has been around since 14th century) and let you know how your voices could form part of the history of the Charterhouse in their current Talking Heads Soundscape project.
Please bring along marker pens/felt tips/writing pens or pencils and some white paper. If you wish, please cut out a picture frame before the workshop from a cereal box or other cardboard, which can frame your face like a portrait. This is optional, so please don’t worry!
