The Up Garden reached out to us last year with a mental idea, “let’s transform a run-down laundry yard in a neglected council estate”. Those are my words. But the mission was the same. Since then Suzanne has been on a rampage to hustle and harness the community to create an absolutely gorgeous community garden in Forest Gate. They had a grand opening, which was a roaring success, and have most certainly followed through on their objective. But there’s still plenty of work to do:
