Join us for a fun day exploring the history of Ilfracombe at Ilfracombe museum and beyond! 10am -12pm Join in with our local history group, the self named ‘Codgers’, as they explore photographs of Ilfracombe’s past, this year’s theme is School days! Come and have a chat with others who remember the Ilfracombe of days gone by, and there’ll be a school photographic display.
Kelvin will also be conducting a Historic walking tour of the harbour and Capstone areas leaving from the front of the museum at 2pm, the walk will go ahead weather permitting.
Free entry for over 60s, adults £5, concessions £4, carers are free as are accompanied children under 16. Walking tour costs £2 each, no booking required, just turn up and pay on the day! Ramped access to the museum which is then all on one level, we do not have a wheelchair accessible toilet, however, there is one at the Landmark theatre next door, available when making a purchase in their cafe.
