Come along for a chat and a gentle walk around Castle Park to introduce you to the benefits of walking with poles. if you love walking and would like to become a little more active, improve your posture, waking gait , balance and coordination in a friendly social group, then join us at 10.30am. Poles are provided and I will find the right pace for you. Castle park offers flat easy terrain on well-maintained paths and an incline to get the heart rate and breathing rate up and lots of benches if you need to rest.
I am a retired nurse with15 years experience of leading walks for the older Adult. I am insured and have the relevant qualifications and am first aid trained.
