Fossils, Flints and Fire a Social Gathering

Museum 4 Watton will open to all ‘Silver Citizens’ with, by courtesy of Watton Town Council, full wheelchair access. Amongst other things the ground floor of our Museum shows documentary history of the town dating back 400 years including the Court Books of the Manor of Watton Hall, and several films of Wattons past. Our chairlift will be available to the Council Chamber where we will be offering free tea, coffee and biscuits and for those who are unable to make the final four steps up to our main exhibition we hope to be able to show a video of the hundreds of local artefacts, dating back up to 500,000 years, that are on display there. Those using wheelchair access should contact us regarding timing in order that we can be on hand for assistance, we are a small museum and can only handle a few wheelchairs at a time. The event is free but donations, no matter how small, are very welcome.
