Silver Sunday is a national day of free fun and activities for older people across the UK and celebrates the value and knowledge that they bring to our communities. The event also aims to tackle the loneliness and isolation felt by many older people by providing social activities to encourage them to get out, try new things and meet new people.
The home will be celebrating with live jazz music and traditional afternoon tea, served with cakes and buns, followed by sherry and cocktails.
