Silver Sunday is a national day of free fun and activities for older people across the UK and celebrates the value and knowledge that they bring to our communities. The event also aims to tackle the loneliness and isolation felt by many older people by providing social activities to encourage them to get out, try new things and meet new people.
The home will be hosting a champagne afternoon tea with a selection of homemade sandwiches, scones and cakes. Guests can also enjoy entertainment from local singer Stevie Fields, who will be playing the very best in 40s and 50s music.
