Life Drawing at The Queen’s Gallery Buckingham Palace in Association with Silver Sunday

Silver Sunday is an annual day of fun and free activities for older people across the UK to combat social isolation and loneliness.

To celebrate and to coincide with our Leonardo da Vinci exhibition at The Queen’s Gallery we are holding life-drawing classes suitable for beginners with no previous experience or those who wish to perfect their skills in drawing the human form. This relaxed and informal session is led by Allan Chin from the Royal Collection’s department of Prints and Drawings.

Timings
Morning session will be from 11am-12.30pm
Afternoon session will be from 14.30-16.00

We will be working from two professional life models during the two sessions. Easels will be available for those who are happy to stand; all drawing materials will be provided. There will be some tuition with no element of judgement or competition.

Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided.

Afterwards participants are free to visit Leonardo da Vinci: A Life in Drawing in The Queen’s Gallery.

Please note: we have a maximum of X15 spaces per session available. Pre-booking essential.
