Luton Peace Walk is an annual event to promote community cohesion and celebrate diversity in our town.
This year the walk will start with tea and biscuits at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church at Castle Street and will visit Luton Christian Fellowship, Luton Turkish Education and Culture Trust (Mosques), and finish at Shri Guru Ravidass Sangat in Cardigan Street.
There will be refreshments (food and drinks) and goodies at all the places visited.
We will be walking with the Luton Peace Walk to help ensure people are supported in crossing the roads safely and get to the different venues as a group.
The walk starts at 1:30 but we have been asked to be there from 1.15 to collect Hi Vis jackets and be briefed. The walk is scheduled to finish by 5pm .
There will be free parking available for those arriving by car at Our Lady Help of Christians, Shri Guru Ravidaas Sangat Parkins (under 59 Liverpool Road) and at Guru Nanak Gurdwaras Car Park on Dallow Road.
