Organised by the Thanet Volunteer Bureau, in partnership with the Ramsgate International Film & TV Festival, Ralph Hoult – fresh from receiving an OBE for his tireless services to the community – will be taking us on a nostalgic “Trip down Memory Lane”, with his impressive and historical collection of photographs, depicting the Ramsgate of yesteryear.
Ralph, also known as ‘Mr Ramsgate’, will present riveting footage of “Forgotten Tourist Films of Ramsgate”.
Before and after Ralph’s talk, there will be a chance for older people to discover the services and opportunities available to them in Thanet by virtue of an information market place, where representatives of the Thanet Community Support Partnership and other local charitable and community organisations will be on hand to answer your questions, connect you up with the services you need, and open up access to the wide variety of leisure, social, educational and volunteering opportunities on offer around Thanet.
