Riverside Archaeology Stroll at Strand-on-the-Green

Join Thames Discovery Programme for an accessible, step-free riverside stroll by the Thames at Strand-on-the-Green, where, guided by one of our expert archaeologists, you can discover the archaeology of the this intriguing part of the Thames. Find out about Thames floods and see how homes have been adapted to protect against rising waters. Hear stories of the Civil War and see almshouses and boat repair features.

Please note that this walk does not involve walking on the foreshore itself.

The walk will begin at: 13:10, at the ramp opposite the old Fuller, Smith & Turner Brewery.

Tickets are £12 and £6 concessionary tickets are available for over 65s, under 25s, disabled people or living with long-term health conditions, or people claiming means-tested benefits.
