On October 7th Silver Sunday is an annual day of fun and free activities for older people across the UK. I will be offering a free taster of Silver swans. Ballet for over 55s at Wye Leisure 530-615pm. It will be free but I’m asking any donations towards Hereford Alzheimer’s society.
Developed by the Royal Academy of Dance, this Silver Swans programme is based on research into dance practice. The programme has been specifically designed for the over-55’s but you’re free to join in whatever your age!
And don’t worry if you have never taken ballet class, complete beginners are absolutely fine! And please just dress in something comfy, leggings and a tshirt is fine or if you would like to wear a leotard and skirt please do! If you have ballet shoes great, if not socks, light pumps are fine.
