We are supporting the national Silver Sunday initiative, an annual day of fun and free activities for older people across the UK. Silver Sunday celebrates the value and knowledge that older people contribute to our communities while combating loneliness and isolation.
Our event will be held on Thursday 5th October 2017 at Walberton Village Hall. The event is a collaboration between Community Playcentre at Walberton, Walberton Village Hall and the Mothers Union and will involve afternoon tea served by the Mothers Union along with children from the Community Playcentre at Walberton and will include activities with some of the younger children which we hope will be fulfilling for young and old people alike.
