Sliver Sunday at Al Manaar Centre

Silver Sunday is a national day where people of all generations can come together by hosting fun and free activities for older people to tackle loneliness and isolation. It is a one-day celebration where older people can meet new people, make friends, trying different activities to enjoy and connect with their local communities and other organisations, whilst linking the generations together. This is a brilliant initiative to bring awareness to the wider community about activities for the elderly, as well as an occasion for the elderly to show their own contribution to their communities and to society. This project will provide an opportunity for people to meet and integrate with other cultures, thereby creating stronger links among diverse groups.
