Stanwix Silver Sunday Catch Up

An opportunity for the residents of Stanwix to have a post summer community catch up. Building on our post COVID events which have included a Christmas Stocking Filler and Platinum Jubilee Celebration month. Advertised to all local people who have requested a chance to use the hut more frequently to meet others and share experiences over tea / coffee. We will provide refreshments and ask people to bring along a cake or biscuits to share. There will be music (possibly live), a range of games which families could play together. We will also launch our next event ‘Hadrian 1900’ a celebration of the fact that the hut is built ontop of one of the largets forts along the wall. Artscool (local community art business) will be encouraging people to get creative with mosaics, artefacts, Roman jewellery etc. to decorate the area for our November event.
