The event is jointly organised by the Heart of Blyth Project and Over 50s Forum and we invited 20 community groups and organisations that offer provision to this demographic to attend the event. We are expecting 180 Blyth residents to be in attendance.
The event will take place at Comrades Club, on Wright Street. It is 12noon for a 12.30pm official opening ceremony. The event will end at 4pm.
This year we will have a double celebration and we will also celebrate Mental Health Day.
We have booked a popular entertainer, an individual afternoon tea box, a free raffle, as well as looking at some other activities and surprises for the participants.
