On Monday 25th April the Sir Simon Milton Foundation welcomed more than 30 local organisations to the Lord Mayor’s Parlour at Westminster City Hall to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Silver Sunday.
Hosted by the Lord Mayor of Westminster, Cllr Andrew Smith, and Silver Sunday Founder, Christabel Flight, guests were invited to mark the special occasion with an afternoon of networking, delicious cake and glorious views across London from City Hall. Attendees also enjoyed a special classical singing performance from Vivien Conacher from Songhaven.
Christabel Flight said: “My heartfelt thanks to you all for your continued support of Silver Sunday. Our success is a direct result of wonderful organisations such as yourselves who organise fantastic events for our older generation every year. We all know what a difference these make and what special memories they create for everyone involved.”
